the hem of the Virgin's mantle - this wooden sculpture is particularly remarkable for its rich and extensive polychromy and gilding.
Carved by Giovanni di Turino as the centrepiece to a painted altarpiece by Taddeo di Bartolo and Gregorio di Cecco,
